ELIGIBILITY
Players from all EDGA disability categories and deaf players, born in 2012 or earlier, with a valid membership of a golf club affiliated to a national golf assocoation and a nationally recognized golf handicap of not more than 54. Maximum 60 players.
CLASSES
Diabled class A hcp +8 - 18.4 Strokeplay Net
Disabled class B hcp 18.5 - 36.0 Stableford
Deaf class A hcp +8 - 18.4 Strokeplay Net
Deaf class B hcp 18.5 - 36.0 Stableford
Disabled and Deaf hcp +8 - 54 9 holes stableford
PRIZES
For each class there will be the following prizes:
- 1/5 of the starting field.
- Best brutto player in disabled class A and deaf class A.
TOURNAMENT FEE: NOK 720
- Practice rounde
- 2 days of tournament
- Buggy (players with a buggy indicated in EDGA classification)
- Driving range balls (Saturday and Sunday)
- Dinner Saturday
- Prize giving ceremony
ENTRY
Registration and payment in GolfBox.
Closeing date for entries: June 21, 12.00 (mid-day).
Registrations will be accepted until the closing date for entries or filling of complete start field. Registrations after this point will be accepted and placed on a reserve list and served on a first come, first served basis in case of cancellation.
RULES
The tournament is played in accordance with the 2023 Rules of Golf and the Local Rules as approved by the Tournament Committe. Competition regulations below.
ACCOMMODATION
Quality Hotel Sarpsborg
NGF has a hotel agreement with Strawberry, and hotel bookings can be made here: Norges Golfforbund - Forbundsturneringer
Please note that it is first come, first served for access to the best prices. Furthermore, we would like to inform you that 2 weeks before the tournament date, any rooms that are not booked will be released for regular public sale.
AIRPORT
Closes airport is Oslo Airport Gardermoen (124 km).
There is no pick-up at the airport, but it is possible to travel between Oslo Airport Gardermoen and Sarpsborg by bus or train. When in Sarpsborg we can provide transport between Quality Hotel Sarpsborg and Skjeberg Golf Club.
Norwegian Paragolf Open is part of Para Norgescup, and count on Para Norgescup Order of Merits.
For players holding a WR4GD pass, the tournament count on WR4GD (WAGR).
